The First Plena Education Convention: A Day of Energy, Vision, and Collaboration

On Saturday, 29 March 2025, in the stunning setting of the Mediterraneo restaurant at the MAXXI in Rome, the highly anticipated first-ever Plena Education Convention took place. This event was conceived as a unique opportunity to unite, inspire, and strengthen the vibrant network of professionals committed to creative education.

From 11:00 to 17:30, the day unfolded with a rich and stimulating programme, centred around sharing, dialogue, and team building. The event began with a warm welcome coffee, setting the tone for a plenary session full of ideas and forward-thinking perspectives.

The convention was officially opened by Alessandro Montel, CEO of Plena, followed by speeches from the CEOs and directors of the various schools within the group: Melany Parasole, Raffaela Scognamiglio, Anna Lottersberger, Simone Borile, Stefano Mastruzzi, and Cristian Cantaluppi. Each of them offered valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the world of creative education, painting a vivid and diverse picture of Plena Education’s current positioning and future direction.

A particularly engaging moment came with the intervention of Clementina Chiari, who focused on the crucial topic of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), highlighting the importance of a sustainable and responsible approach within the educational sector.

Following a buffet lunch that encouraged informal exchanges, the afternoon continued with an engaging World Café session – a dynamic, participatory format designed to spark networking and reinforce the sense of community within the group. This was a time when ideas and visions emerged freely and constructively, giving space to everyone’s creativity and experience.

Heartfelt thanks were extended to all attendees: it was their presence, enthusiasm, and openness that transformed the first Plena Convention into something more than just a corporate event. It became a true celebration of education, infused with energy, optimism, and a shared belief that together, we can shape a future for education that is more innovative, sustainable, and inspiring.

And this is just the beginning. Plena Education is looking ahead, ready to shape new educational models built on vision, courage, and collaboration – and this Convention is the clearest sign of that vibrant potential.
